Here are a few of our favorite fall events and festivities happening in Alexandria and DC:

Old Town Waterfront Fitness + Wellness Festival 2018

Get acquainted with local fitness centers and wellness companies up close and personal during the Old Town Waterfront Fitness + Wellness Festival. These businesses will have fitness demonstrations, healthy eating pointers, and calming meditation tips. This fitness and wellness event is happening on September 22 from 12 PM to 4 PM at Waterfront Park. Tickets start at $19 and the first 400 participants will receive a swag bag full of goodies.

Art on the Avenue 2018: Regional Multicultural Arts & Music Festival

On October 6 from 10 AM to 6 PM, Art on the Avenue is coming to the Del Ray neighborhood in Alexandria. Over 300 artists will have their work on display for the 50,000 visitors who will attend the festival. The range of works to be discovered include pieces by silversmiths, glass makers, and soap crafters. Irish, rock ‘n' roll, and country bands will play on five stages on Mt. Vernon Avenue. There will also be food vendors, activities for kids, and more. This event is free to attend, rain or shine.
