The Spring Wine Festival & Sunset Tour Returns
The Spring Wine Festival & Sunset Tour returns to Mount Vernon May 15 – 17, 2015! This unique experience is also the most popular event held at the esteemed plantation of the first United States President, George Washington.
A historical landmark in its own rite, Mount Vernon provides the perfect backdrop to any date night or weekend getaway overlooking the scenic Potomac River.
As a celebration of the history of wine in Virginia, you will enjoy samples of wine from more than 15 wineries and vineyards on the east lawn, exclusive evening tours of the Mansions and cellar, appearances by “George and Martha Washington” and live jazz!
Located just 6.2 miles away from Mount Vernon, Holiday Inn Express & Suites Alexandria provides the perfect centralized location to give you that home-away-from-home feel during your special trip to Washington’s estate. With amenities that rival any DC area hotel, your stay is sure to be smooth while you focus on simply having fun and spending your time enjoying all that the surrounding D.C. area has to offer. Book our Mount Vernon package and entry for two to the estate is included.
